Questions About CMN

Who CMN is, what the license means, and where the data comes from.

Is CMN Realty Group a government agency?

No. CMN Realty Group is an independent housing intelligence and real estate advisory company. It serves public sector clients and works almost entirely from federal and public data, but it is not affiliated with any government body, does not speak for one, and has no regulatory authority.

Where does the data come from?

Federal agencies and verified primary market data providers. The dashboard draws on the U.S. Census Bureau, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Freddie Mac, and Realtor.com inventory data, delivered through FRED at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.

Every chart names its publisher, dataset, series identifier, frequency, geographic coverage, and known limitations. Nothing is presented without its provenance.

What does the real estate license mean here?

Charles Nolan holds California DRE license #02223634, affiliated with First Team Real Estate in Newport Beach. The license permits CMN to act in transactions where that is what a client needs.

It is not the primary identity. The license supports the research, not the other way around.

How does CMN stay independent if it is also licensed?

By keeping the analysis separable from the transaction. Research is published whether or not it points toward a deal, interpretation is labelled as interpretation and kept apart from the source data, and what the data cannot prove is stated as plainly as what it can.

A reader should always be able to check the work.

Is CMN research a valuation or an appraisal?

No. Published research and the economic dashboard are general information and education. They are not a valuation, an appraisal, or advice on a specific property or transaction. Advisory engagements are scoped separately.
